Real Reviews is an Australian review platform built to fight fake, paid and AI-generated reviews. Every listing shows two separate scores: a Real Rating from verified customers, and an Unverified Rating from everyone else — so you always know which number you can rely on.

The Real Rating only counts reviews from people who verified who they are and backed their review with evidence of a genuine purchase — like a receipt, invoice or photos of the product or service. The Unverified Rating includes everything else. We publish both, but we never blend them.

Three things: verify your identity with us, attach evidence of your purchase (a receipt, invoice or product photos), and pass our human moderation check. Reviews that meet the full bar are classified as Real; the rest are still published, but sit in the unverified pool.

We don't display a Real Rating until a listing has multiple verified reviews. A single review — glowing or furious — isn't a fair basis for a score.

From your account dashboard, verify your email first, then submit an identity verification request. A member of our team reviews each submission — it's not automated.

No. Verification happens privately between you and us. Your review appears under your display name — the badge simply tells readers your identity and purchase were verified, not who you are. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle verification documents.

You can withdraw or unpublish your own reviews any time from your account page.

Every review is checked by a person before it goes live. Reviews are declined when they breach our Posting Guidelines — for example secondhand stories, abuse, personal information, or conflicts of interest.

No. There is no price at which Real Reviews removes a genuine review — that's the entire point of the platform. Reviews are only removed when they breach our Posting Guidelines.

Your Real Rating is protected: it's built only from verified customers, so coordinated pile-ons and reviews from people who never bought from you land in the clearly separated unverified pool. Readers can see the gap between the two scores — which itself tells the story.

Earn verified reviews: deliver good service, follow up with your customers, and invite them to review you — they'll need their receipt or invoice handy. You cannot buy, trade or incentivise your way to a Real Rating.

Never. Ratings are computed from published reviews and nothing else. No commercial relationship with Real Reviews changes a score, a ranking, or a moderation decision.
